Class Guidelines

Above all, please respect the studio as a sacred space. This is both for your benefit and the benefit of others.

▪ Be early to class. Doors open 15 min before class. If you are new to the center, please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to sign in and register. Classes start on time. No late entries.
▪ Cell phones are not generally permitted in the studio space. This is to encourage a peaceful practice for all, free of distractions. However, if you have an extenuating circumstance in which you need your phone close by, just let us know and kindly turn your phone to “silent”. Thank you!
▪ If you have a health issue (pregnancy, illness, injury or medical condition), please notify your instructor before class. We are happy to offer options throughout class that may be more comfortable and safe for you.
▪ We occasionally offer the option of hands-on adjustments in class in an effort to assist with alignment, enhance relaxation, or to help you explore possibilities in a posture or shape, but we are always happy to work with you hands-free. We will ask permission before adjusting hands-on, but you are also welcome to inform your instructor of your preference before class.
▪ Please stay for the entire class.
▪ We recommend practicing with an empty stomach (unless a specific condition prevents this)

▪ Attend a class level that best suits you. If you have questions about which class might be best for you, let us know! We are happy to help.
▪ In yoga, we try to surrender the competitive mindset. The purpose of yoga is far more than just a workout or techniques for relaxation. It calms the mind, opens the heart, and ignites your spiritual evolution!

We offer yoga mats and props free of charge for your use during class. You are welcome to bring your own mat and props if you prefer.

Teens ages 14 and up are always welcome in any of our Yoga classes.

We welcome, support and encourage participation of people of any race, ethnicity, gender, ability, sexual orientation or religious affiliation. We have single-stall gender neutral bathrooms/changing rooms in our studio space. We strive to create compassionate and inclusive programming for all. It is our hope that we lift each other up and support each other as a community through the practices of yoga and meditation!

In-Person Classes:

* You are always welcome to bring your own mat and props. However, we have mats and props available for use here as well that you are also welcome to use.

* Please arrive early enough to set up and get settled before class begins. Class begins on time. No late entries.

Online Classes:

We are excited to offer you online classes so you can practice with us wherever you may be! All you need is space enough for your yoga mat, hopefully somewhat quiet and free from distractions. If you have props like blocks and bolsters, you are welcome to use them, but truly just a blanket or towel and your yoga mat will be just fine. Your online instructor will check in with you before class to make sure you are set up and ready to go! After class, you are welcome to stick around virtually and ask questions or provide feedback for your instructor about your online yoga experience!
