Getting started with yoga can be an intimidating experience but this class is designed to help you feel safe, comfortable and free to be at your own level of flexibility and strength. This class is designed to provide the new student with a foundational understanding of the postures of yoga. Basics is suitable for the beginning student or those who want a little extra explanation. The class tends towards simpler poses and focuses on the fundamental elements of physical yoga. It is more detailed, slower paced and gentler than other Hatha classes. Please arrive early, the office opens 15 minutes before each class. Classes begin on time. Once the class has begun the doors are locked for security purposes.

Preregistration is not required for drop in classes. We provide a variety of classes several times a day giving you the power to choose the classes that are best for you.
