About Sara Girardi, RYT

Although
I was a fairly athletic young person, Sara
never really found just the right physical
activity to fit her body and her mind;
aerobics was too jarring, mountain biking
too dangerous, downhill skiing too out of
control, and running hurt her shins. So,
when Sara started practicing yoga in early
2000 it was initially to satisfy a sense of
curiosity…but also she was still looking
for that perfect “exercise”. Right away she
was drawn to the sense of rooting down into
the earth coupled with the experience of
lightness and expansion. And although Sara
loved the mental and physical challenge,
over time it was the sense of peace and
connectivity that ingrained the practice of
yoga into her life. Today Sara loves the
way yoga grows with her and continues to be
everything she is looking for regardless of
what that is. As an instructor, Sara hopes
to offer her students not only a
challenging yet safe physical practice and
a sense of peace and joy found within the
quiet moments between the breath.
